Glossary: test case state

There are three possible test case states:

  1. Planned: indicates that a test case has been scheduled for execution, but has not started yet.

  2. Started: means that a test case has been started but has not finished yet. Once/if the case finishes, a result code will be assigned.

  3. Finished: indicates that the execution of a test case has been completed, with one of the three test case results assigned: success, violation, or failure.
