Glossary: test case

Test case is a sequence of protocol transactions. Test cases exercise a set of protocol rules to determine protocol compliance of the device under test with respect to those rules. Co-Advisor test cases are usually designed to exercise a small (if not minimum) set of protocol rules so that a specific violated rule can be identified with a good probability.
